T-500 provides a tough, long-lasting, mirror-like finish that protects paint against corrosive elements. Through cross-link chemistry, polymer is attached to the fluorocarbon molecule. This bonding polymer will stick to paint without heat or friction. Works great on aircraft, cars and boats. T-500 will increase performance by reducing parasitic drag. The performance of the aircraft is actually increased due to the slick surface the Teflon Sealant left on the paint. This non-abrasive sealant is guaranteed to make your finish smoother and slicker than you ever dreamed possible. T-500 will last several times longer than popular car polishes you may have used in the past. Most of our customers repeat applying T-500 once each year. If your plane or automobile is parked outside and continuously exposed to the elements, we suggest that you re-seal the surface every six months. FastWing T-500 Paint Sealant has been tested and approved under the standards of AMS, Douglas & Boeing and is safe for all painted surfaces, including clear coats. For best use, always place T-500 on the application cloth or buffing pad, never directly on the paint surface. The surface should be cool to the touch. If the surface is hot, you can hose it down with cold water, removing excess water before applying T-500. Shake well and apply T-500 to a soft, dry cloth and wipe onto the surface in a circular motion. Remember, more is not better; a thin film is all it takes and this film should be allowed to haze over before it is removed with a soft, clean towel or buffing pad.
